The Marco Island Garden Club will be hosting a Fall Floral Sale
The members of the Calusa Garden Club that is located on Marco Island are meeting in small groups to work on floral design skills to prepare for the Plant and Thanksgiving Arrangement Sale that will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM on Tuesday, November 23 at the parking lot of Marco Lutheran Church.
This sale offers items that will be great for any Thanksgiving table and décor on the following Thursday. Items for sale include lush live flower arrangements for Thanksgiving. Some arrangements will be available in live pumpkin container displays and some will be in elegant fall containers.
The plant and Thanksgiving arrangements will offer beautiful indoor and outdoor arrangements including trees, banana plants, and unusual bromeliads. Charlotte Roman who is a friend of the Calusa Garden Club will also be selling cuttings from a variety of prize-winning orchids within her own garden. Other members have prepared easy to care for succulent gardens that can be part of home décor both indoors or outdoors. Some of the members have also come together to donate some unusual flower vases and other arrangement containers to provide the most unique and interesting of floral arrangements for your Thanksgiving table.
About the Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island
The Calusa Garden Club on Marco Island is a member of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and membership is open to anyone interested in horticulture, floral design, and environmental matters that has been living in Collier County for five months or more, or resides in the area for five months or more out of the year.
The Calusa Garden Club on Marco Island meets the second Monday of every month from October through April. All garden club meetings are held at the Wesley United Methodist Church fellowship hall. For anyone in Collier County spending five or more months here annually interested in membership in the Calusa Garden Club, you can contact the garden club at calusagardenclub@yahoo.com.
