Keewaydin Island Day Trip - May 15, 2021

Just north of Marco Island, situated between Naples and Marco, is a spit of sand call Keewaydin. On the north end of the island there are impressive luxury homes that can only be reached by boat (or helicopter). But, on the south end of the island near the tip is a boating and beaching paradise! If you pull up on the sandy bar on the "inside", you will be joined by dozens of friendly boat-going partiers . On the outside, you can anchor up just off the beach (bow out) and walk onto the beach with your chairs, coolers, and beach games. Then enjoy a pristine, laid back, easy going afternoon on one of the most unspoiled, beautiful beaches in the world!
